How many jobs can I do in a day when installing PV and/or batteries?

Transitional Arrangements from 1 July to 10 August 2025, battery systems can be commissioned and signed off within one of the prescribed limits as follows:

A “Ready to Commission” system is a battery system OR a battery and solar system at the same site that was physically installed between 6 April and 30 June but not commissioned or energised.

  • 2 x PV systems or,
  • 2 x battery systems or,
  • One PV and one battery system or,
  • One PV system and two ‘ready to commission’ battery systems or,
  • One battery system and two ‘ready to commission’ battery systems or,
  • 4 x ‘ready to commission’ battery systems

After 10 August 20225 the following will apply:

  • 2 x PV system or,
  • 2 x battery systems or,
  • One PV and one battery system

You can apply for exemption from SAA per existing arrangements.
